Shaun Elder is currently working on two projects: a CD of lullabies for harp, and a CD featuring celtic-inspired music for harp and mandolin. More information on release dates will be available here by Spring 2004.
You may be wondering how the label’s name came to be chosen. For years, Shaun had been improvising music in the evenings for his wife Maureen. She always found the sound of his viola too loud for their small room, so Shaun threw away his bow and began to pluck the viola. The cats loved the new sound, too. Shaun has now written over 400 pieces for plucked instruments.
